Dear Parents
Parents Evenings: Monday 4th and Wednesday 6th February
Parents Evenings will take place on Monday 4th and Wednesday 6th February, from 3.30 – 6.30 p.m. Lists will be available in reception from Monday 28th January for you to book a time slot. The focus for this Parents’ Evening is on numeracy and literacy. The arrangements are as follows:
Years 3 and 4: Consultations will take place in classrooms.
You will need a five minute appointment with your child’s class teacher and five minutes with their numeracy teacher. If the class teacher also takes your child for numeracy, book a ten minute appointment.
Year 5: Consultations will take place in the hall.
You will need a five minute appointment with your child’s numeracy teacher and five minutes with their literacy teacher. If they are the same, book a ten minute appointment. You do not need a separate appointment to see their class teacher.
Year 6: Consultations will take place in the hall.
Book a five minute appointment for numeracy and a five minute appointment for literacy. You do not need a separate appointment to see their class teacher.
If you don’t already know which teachers teach your child numeracy and literacy, please check with them before making the appointments.
Mrs Kirby will be available on both evenings. Her lists will also be in reception from Monday 28th January.
Please feel free to look at all other subject books. These will be available in classrooms.
Year 4 Residential
A brief reminder to parents of children in 4E who are going to The Wilderness Centre on Monday. Arrive at school at the usual time and remember to bring a packed lunch for the first day. Try to practice the tasks you will be doing next week over the week-end and get lots of sleep ready for the adventure!
