Hello all, I came to the school from year 3-6 then on to chosen hill for year 7. I moved away at the end of that to Germany. But I came back to the UK 5 years ago. Its been such a long time since I've been to this school. 10 years! I have just finished my A levels and am 18. I remember CVJS very well and remember my yr 6 teacher Mr. Clough and yr 5 Mrs. Carrington-state. Hope the school and teachers are still well and hope the yr 6 residential trip to Swanage still happens. I remember that very well and enjoyed it a lot!

Just passing through again, my how everything's changed! New library, very swish! Im in Year 9 now, doing my seperate science GCSE this year and choose my options in January. It feels as though I was slaving through SAT attack just yesterday! Time flies when you're having fun(!) I see PGL's still a fun adventure, I don't think i'll ever forget all those fire alarms at 1 in the morning. Just a quick note to Mrs Jones, in my science paper last year, there was a question on light where we had to draw arrows in the direction the light was travelling. Well I think everyone in the exam hall thought I was barmy pointing to my eye (arrow to the eye, arrow to the eye), so thanks for that one! Hope to see you all soon, Ellie :)

Wow visiting the site has brought back so many lovely memories - I was at the school 1998-2002 and the infant school before that. I'm off to uni next year, but would really like to come back and visit the school before I go if it's OK - I know Mr Clough and Mrs Warren are still there!
| cheranne hack | 02 November 2008 18:17:02 |
Hi to all, I was a cvjs student and happened to have mr Clough as my teacher, I am so glad he's the head of the school now. He was a brilliant teacher and always an inspiration for me, the school can only benefit from him! I had a brilliant time at cvjs and I hope the current students will one day look back with the same fondness and thanks that I have. Hope you are doing well mr. C! xx

hi in year 6 now and enjoying it
| Richard Clark | 18 August 2008 23:57:02 |
I was there from 1961-64, years 3 -5, or classes 7, 5 and 3 respectively as they were then called. I remember the school fondly and hope it has stayed that way. Mr Shelley was the head. Can anyone name the class 7 teacher in 1961-2? Mrs Howell (class 3) was kind; I remember deputising for her in piano playing for country dancing. I left before making Mr Daniels class 1. It would be interesting to hear from others who were in the same classes.

We have a female headteacher and 3 other teachers. I have just had my parents evening and I am doing very well, I am doing well in maths and english, but in reading I have already reached top level. We are at the moment practicing for our Xmas play and we are doing a business and we are going to be on television in December. I have the job of being the accounts manager.
